Attendance & Bunk Planner
See where you stand against the 75% rule, and exactly how many classes you can skip or need to attend.
The formulas
Current % = attended ÷ total × 100. If above the requirement r, classes you can miss = (attended − r×total) ÷ r. If below, classes to attend consecutively = (r×total − attended) ÷ (1 − r).
Frequently asked questions
Why is 75% attendance required?
UGC and most university ordinances mandate minimum 75% attendance to sit for end-semester exams; some institutions allow condonation to 65% on medical grounds.
How many classes can I bunk at 85% attendance?
You can miss classes until attendance falls to the threshold: bunkable = (attended − 0.75 × total) ÷ 0.75, using your real numbers — this tool computes it exactly.
My attendance is below 75% — can I recover?
Yes, if enough classes remain. Attend consecutively: required = (0.75 × total − attended) ÷ 0.25.
